We have cooperated with the Dutch chemical supplier SMIT-NERA to develop a new series of zeological materials. They are the latest environmentally sustainable leather made from zeolite based chemical materials through a new zeology tanning method.

Zeology tanned leather does not contain chromium, heavy metals, SVHC, toxic GDA's or Vegetable tanning agent with poor biodegrade . It is more biodegradable than traditional tanning leather on the market and can be composted after biodegraded.

Zeology does not need additional bleach. However, the white color is whiter without Titanium Dioxide and colors are more brighter & clearer than the ordinary tanning leather.

The tanning process of Zeology has no peculiar smell, no hazardous waste will be generated and chromium sludge will not be generated too as there are no chrome in any of procedure. The buffing dust and shaving dust produced by zerology tanning procedure have higher biodegradability. They are all belong to general wastes and meanwhile avoid secondary pollution to soil, water and environment.
